Al-Qadisiya defeats Burqan in the Al Ain Juniors Championship

Al-Qadsia secured a well-deserved three-set victory over Burqan in the second round of the International Junior Volleyball Championship, currently being held at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Sports Hall in the Al Ain area.

In the same round, Bahrain’s Al-Nasser continued their strong start with a second consecutive win, defeating Qatar’s Al-Rayyan in straight sets, while Qatar’s Al-Arabi clinched their match against the UAE’s Al-Ain with a 3-2 victory.

The tournament, organized by Al-Ain Club under the patronage of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and with technical cooperation from the UAE Volleyball Association, runs from August 30 to September 4.

The competition follows a single-round league format, with teams accumulating points to determine the top finishers at the conclusion of the event.

The championship aims to support and develop young talent, build a strong foundation of players, and provide them with opportunities to gain competitive experience and skills through interaction with teams from various countries.

Both the first and second rounds showcased outstanding technical levels from the participating teams, amid an atmosphere reflecting the spirit of brotherhood and friendship among players, in line with the tournament’s slogan “No losers in the championship,” which emphasizes talent development and experience acquisition over results alone.
