Trump threatens Iran with 'much stronger' strikes if it responds to US bombing

US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Tuesday against retaliating for recent US strikes, stating that it would face attacks “much harsher and stronger.” Trump said the US attacks were in response to Iran’s planting of mines in the Strait of Hormuz and its launching of missiles at a base hosting US forces in Jordan. He warned that “if the failed state of Iran responds to this fully justified attack, it will suffer another strike much harsher and stronger, but that will not be the largest attack ever; the largest attack is still anticipated, and when it ends, very little of Iran will remain.”
