Al-Yousef inspects the Forensic Evidence department and reviews the latest technical and technological developments

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, paid an inspection visit to the General Administration of Criminal Evidence to review the progress of operations, performance levels, and key technical and technological developments, in line with his commitment to monitoring and enhancing the work system across various sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

He was received by Major General Fahad Al-Badr, Head of the Criminal Security Affairs Sector, and Major General Abdulrahim Al-Awadi, Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, along with his deputy, Major General Mishaari Al-Raish, and several department directors and their assistants.

During the visit, the Minister listened to a welcome address delivered by the Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, who outlined the administration’s aspirations and plans to continue development and elevate work standards. He also viewed a visual presentation on the role of artificial intelligence in the criminal justice field and its applications in identity verification and forgery detection.

Additionally, he conducted an inspection tour of several departments and laboratories, where he reviewed the nature of operations, the procedures for implementing services, and the specialized technical services provided by the administration.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency issued a number of directives supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of work standards, aiming to improve performance efficiency and result accuracy, thereby contributing to strengthening the security system.
