Government Requests Completion of Updating Employees' Certificates and Qualifications

In line with its commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination among government entities and supporting the integration of efforts aimed at elevating institutional performance, the Council of Ministers directed government bodies to complete the updating of scientific qualifications data for their employees. This initiative aims to enable the Committee for Verifying Academic Certificates for employees in government entities and the private sector, covering both citizens and residents, to carry out its assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy.

The Council of Ministers informed government entities of the progress rate in updating scientific qualifications data for employees in each entity, emphasizing the importance of completing the update procedures to support the work of the specialized committee and enhance its capacity to perform its duties and achieve the desired objectives.

The Council of Ministers also instructed government entities to direct their relevant specialists to promptly complete the updating of scientific qualifications data for employees who have not yet completed the update procedures, in accordance with the notifications sent to them via the “Sahel” application. This will enable the committee to finalize its work, verify the authenticity of academic qualifications, and fully accomplish its assigned tasks.

The Council of Ministers’ directive comes as part of ongoing government efforts to raise the accuracy of employment and educational data, and to strengthen the reliability of scientific qualifications registered with government entities. These efforts support verification and review processes, enhance the efficiency of government procedures, and contribute to consolidating the principles of accuracy and transparency, safeguarding the quality of institutional work, and serving the public interest.
