81,500 square meters sold in Al-Sarra for KD 40 million

- 388 real estate transactions in 30 days

Real estate market transactions during the period from August 2 to August 31 recorded 388 deals, with a total value approaching 240 million dinars.

According to real estate trading data issued by the Ministry of Justice, activity was concentrated in terms of the number of transactions in the Ahmadi Governorate, while the capital led in terms of value, driven by several large deals that raised its total trading volume during the monitored period to approximately 81.23 million dinars, covering 34 transactions, thereby accounting for about 33.9 percent of the total value.

Hawalli Governorate ranked second with a value of 54.52 million dinars across 54 transactions, followed by Ahmadi with 52.36 million dinars through 173 transactions, making it the most active governorate in terms of the number of transactions. Farwaniya Governorate recorded approximately 24.41 million dinars across 43 transactions, while Jahra transactions reached about 19.18 million dinars covering 60 transactions, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer transactions amounted to approximately 8.26 million dinars across 24 transactions.

The private real estate sector accounted for the largest share of activity, with 270 transactions valued at 129.66 million dinars, representing approximately 54 percent of the total trading value. Investment transactions ranked second with 112 deals totaling 81.54 million dinars, while commercial transactions recorded 3 deals valued at 21.71 million dinars. The data also included one transaction in the trade exhibitions category valued at 6.24 million dinars, one warehouse transaction valued at 500,000 dinars, and one government transaction valued at 310,000 dinars.

Regarding property types, private residential houses led trading with 198 transactions valued at 65.5 million dinars, while private land recorded 66 transactions totaling approximately 23.5 million dinars. In the investment sector, buildings accounted for 29 transactions valued at 53.03 million dinars, while the trading volume of 50 investment land plots reached approximately 22.74 million dinars.

At the neighborhood level, Al-Sarra topped trading values with approximately 41.36 million dinars across 3 transactions, driven by an exceptional deal valued at 40 million dinars on an area of 81,500 square meters. Al-Qibla ranked second with 20.01 million dinars through a single transaction, while Al-Salmiya ranked third with 18.74 million dinars across 12 transactions.

The sale of commercial land in Al-Qibla, measuring 2,117 square meters and valued at 20.01 million dinars, ranked second among major deals. Other significant transactions included the sale of investment land in Al-Shaab valued at 8 million dinars, a commercial complex in Ad-Dajeej valued at 6.24 million dinars, and an investment building in Al-Shaab valued at 5.4 million dinars.
