$15 for Egypt entry visa at the start of 2027

The decision comes within the framework of organizing and unifying fees related to visas and consular services, ensuring clarity regarding the amounts due when these services are provided. The new fee will apply to entry, transit, and consular visas starting in early 2027, while the fee for departure from Egyptian territory will continue to be governed by the rules and value previously announced for modification a few days ago.

In a separate development, and according to a disclosure letter received by the Egyptian Exchange, Orascom Investment Holding Company’s management announced that it is considering entering into an alliance with a global entity specialized in airport management and operations, with the aim of participating in the operation of several Egyptian airports.

The company added that “negotiations with the global entity are still ongoing, and we are studying a number of airports that could be managed, with the goal of supporting and stimulating tourism activity in Egypt. Entering the airport management and operations sector aligns with our strategy for comprehensive expansion in the tourism industry, leveraging our expertise and existing investments in activities linked to the tourism ecosystem. However, we have not applied to manage Hurghada Airport, and as of now, no final or binding agreement has been concluded regarding the potential alliance for airport management and operations.”
