A Happy Night in Al-Jahra

Al-Jahra fans celebrated with great enthusiasm, amid an atmosphere of joy and pride among the players, after securing their first victory against Al-Arabi, the league runners-up, by a score of 2-1 in their second match.

Club president Youssef Karim expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the significant efforts made by the technical and administrative staff, as well as the players, despite the challenging circumstances the club has faced in recent weeks. He noted that they have risen to the responsibility placed upon their shoulders.

He added that the team’s squad has been completed with the arrival of new professional players, who have been a valuable addition to the team. A new Brazilian professional will join within the next two days, and we will strive to deliver better performances in upcoming matches.

Meanwhile, team coach Ahmed Abdul-Karim said, “I have great confidence in the players, who have delivered everything required of them and handled the match well. We are currently preparing to face Kuwait, after which we will have a 35-day break to reorganize our squad.”

He pointed out that he has made numerous player changes in recent weeks and that more time is needed, especially since young players have been called up to the first team and therefore require additional time to adapt.
