Persons with Disabilities: Installation of surveillance cameras begins in care homes in Salibikhaat and South Al-Sabah

The Authority stated in a post on its X account that, in accordance with directives from Dr. Amthal Al-Hawila, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, surveillance cameras have begun to be installed in care homes in the Salhiya and South Salmiya areas, with the aim of enhancing the protection and safety of residents and raising the level of oversight and monitoring within care homes.

It added that the project is being implemented by the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, to support the follow-up of residents’ needs and to improve the quality of care and services provided to them.
