Sudden floods at the US Grand Canyon National Park; search underway for more than 20 people

The U.S. National Park Service announced on Sunday that search operations are underway for more than 20 people following a sudden flash flood at Grand Canyon National Park.

In a statement on its website, the agency said it is “asking the public for information regarding more than 20 individuals who may be missing or unaccounted for following a sudden and significant flash flood.”
