Nizahah to the Ministry of Education: Updating data for those subject to the financial disclosure requirement

The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha) has requested the Ministry of Education to update the records of individuals subject to the financial disclosure provisions, ensuring that updates are limited only to those whose employment data have changed or who were appointed after the date of the ministry’s last letter regarding data updates.
The Authority urged the Ministry of Education to send copies of administrative decisions concerning changes in the employment data of these individuals, such as appointment, promotion, and secondment to vacant positions, as well as decisions terminating service or assuming or relinquishing official status. It also requested information on measures taken to notify these individuals of their financial disclosure obligations before the legal deadlines for submitting their financial declarations expire.
The Authority emphasized the necessity of providing it with all information related to the compilation and updating of employment data for individuals subject to financial disclosure provisions who have assumed or ceased to hold positions governed by the law, in compliance with Article 20 of the Executive Regulations of the aforementioned law. This is based on the law establishing the Authority, which stipulates that the Authority, in coordination with relevant entities, shall periodically identify and update the holders of these positions subject to the provisions of this law.
