"Luwaiyak" Concludes the "Legal Clinic" Program
Loyak concluded the activities of the first edition of its interactive “Legal Clinic” program at a ceremony held at the Shadi Al-Khalij Theater in its new headquarters at Aisha School. The event involved more than 40 students aged 13 to 18, as part of a program that ran throughout August 2026.
The program was conducted in collaboration with the “Arkan Legal Training Academy,” aiming to provide legal awareness to youth through an interactive approach that transcends traditional concepts. This was achieved through workshops, group discussions, case studies, and role-playing, supervised by Loyak’s Performing Arts Academy, LABA. The initiative underscores that the program marks the beginning of a pathway to embed legal culture among young people, based on the principle that legal awareness begins before a problem occurs.
Over three weeks, the “Legal Clinic” program sought to deliver legal education to youth in an interactive and practical manner. It covered various legal topics related to their daily lives, enhancing their awareness of their rights and duties, and developing their ability to make sound decisions and handle different legal situations wisely. The program featured participation from a select group of legal experts and specialists, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Interior, who contributed their practical experience to enrich participants’ experiences and strengthen the program’s practical aspects.
At the closing ceremony, Loyak Board of Directors member Fathouh Al-Dalali emphasized that “the program was not merely training, but a journey of awareness aimed at presenting law as a value, a responsibility, and a daily behavior.” She noted that “participants acquired skills in legal culture, leadership, communication, and digital awareness, alongside the development of critical thinking and analysis, contributing to preparing a more aware generation capable of handling legal and digital challenges.”
Dr. Hussein Al-Abdullah, Founder and Principal Partner at Arkan International for Law and Legal Consultations, stated that the “Legal Clinic” represents a distinctive experience in spreading legal culture among youth through an interactive approach close to their reality.
He explained that the program succeeded in transforming legal concepts into practical scenarios through dialogue, case studies, simulations, and role-playing, commending the students’ engagement and eagerness to learn.
In conclusion, participating students and success partners, along with several representatives from the Ministry of Interior and the media, were honored in recognition of their contribution to providing discussion sessions that addressed important legal and awareness-raising issues.
