Launch of interviews for applicants to the Officer Cadet Course for High School Graduates, Coast Guard Specialty

Interviews commenced for applicants seeking to join the cadet officer course for high school graduates specializing in Coast Guard duties, to be held at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Ghanim Al Ghanim Maritime Academy in the State of Qatar. The process was led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, and attended by the Assistant Undersecretary for Support Security Services, Major General Fawaz Al-Roumi, and the Head of the Education and Training Sector, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Humaidi.

The interviews were conducted in accordance with established procedures and criteria for selecting candidates, ensuring the recruitment of qualified individuals capable of pursuing maritime specialties. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to preparing and training national cadres and enhancing readiness in security and maritime fields.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior emphasized the importance of applying selection standards with precision and transparency, and ensuring the selection of outstanding candidates who demonstrate competence, discipline, and readiness to assume responsibility. This step falls within the framework of ongoing cooperation and coordination between the State of Kuwait and the sister State of Qatar in the fields of security education and training, as well as the exchange of expertise, thereby strengthening the capabilities of security personnel and elevating the level of specialized qualification and training.
