Return to regular morning and evening working hours under the standard schedule, effective September

The Civil Service Bureau confirmed that the official morning and afternoon working hours in all government entities will return to their regular schedule starting on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations.

The Civil Service Bureau stated that this decision follows its Circular No. (11) of 2026 regarding the official working hours during the summer season, which was issued in implementation of the Civil Service Council’s decision taken at its meeting No. (8) of 2026, held on May 14, 2026. Clause (7) of that decision stipulated that it would take effect from June 1, 2026, until August 31, 2026, after which the morning and afternoon working hours would resume as scheduled.
