Liyaw to "Ghlata"

Rome (AFP) – Portuguese international Rafael Leão has announced that he will leave his club Milan, for whom he has played since 2019, to join Turkish side Galatasaray.

Leão said, “It is a difficult moment. I have said goodbye to my teammates after seven years, and it is time to say farewell.”

The striker added, “I will certainly remain in the club’s history thanks to everything I have contributed. The love I hold for Milan will never leave me, and I will always continue to follow it, even from afar.”

Galatasaray will pay up to 45 million euros (approximately $52 million) to sign Leão, who will sign a contract with the Turkish club that runs until 2030.
