Sherifa Iskandar Snatches Gold at the 'Mastar' Event in Indonesia Junior Asian Bowling Championship

The Kuwaiti junior bowling team successfully won several medals and raised the Kuwaiti flag high at the Asian Junior Championships, currently being held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Player Sharifa Iskandar won the gold medal in the Masters event, while the Kuwaiti team secured third place and the bronze medal in the youth doubles competition through the duo of Hussein Qasim and Fahd Al-Saqabi.
For his part, Sheikh Talal Al-Mohammad, president of both the Kuwaiti and International Bowling Federations, expressed his great joy at this achievement, which came after significant efforts and persistent endeavors that culminated in success under the guidance of the wise political leadership, emphasizing the need to continue working and contributing to achieve further sports accomplishments that bear Kuwait’s name.
Al-Mohammad extended his thanks and appreciation to all who supported and backed the team in achieving this feat, as well as to the General Authority for Sports for its continuous support and efforts to overcome all obstacles facing bowling and sports in general, expressing his hope that the coming period will witness more achievements that contribute to raising Kuwait’s flag high in international sports arenas.
