Rubio: Oil Deal Will Bring Venezuela $100 Billion

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the new oil agreement with Venezuela grants the United States a substantial share of Venezuela’s oil reserves and will bring approximately $100 billion in investments to the Latin American country.

He added, “For the Venezuelan people, this agreement will bring around $100 billion in private investment, support thousands of high-paying jobs, and drive the process of rebuilding the Venezuelan economy.”
