Kuwait's Junior Blue Hands Lose to South Korea 28-36 in Asian Championship Matches

Kuwait’s junior men’s handball team lost today to their South Korean counterparts with a score of 28-36, in the quarterfinals of the 11th Asian Junior Men’s Handball Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup and is being held in Jordan.

South Korea took the lead in the first half, ending the period with a five-goal advantage (10-15). The second half saw a relative improvement from Kuwait, but South Korea maintained their goal difference until the final whistle to secure the victory.

With this loss, Kuwait will face tomorrow, Saturday, the loser of the match between Qatar and Jordan, which is scheduled for this evening, to determine the rankings from fifth to eighth place.
