Nepal Police issue flood warning after lake collapse in Tibet

Police said in a statement: “We received a report of a lake collapse on the Tibetan side. We urge all security and rescue teams, as well as the public, to exercise caution, seek shelter immediately, and report any incidents.”

The lake formed as a result of a massive glacial outburst flood that caused devastating flooding in the area two days ago, claiming the lives of nearly 500 people.
