Expanding Cooperation with Indonesia in Supporting Rural Development Efforts

Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, Khaled Al-Yassin, stated that he discussed with Indonesian Minister of Rural Affairs and Rural Development Yandri Susanto ways to expand cooperation between the two countries, support development efforts in rural areas, and develop bilateral relations and enhance areas of joint work in a manner that serves their mutual interests.

Ambassador Al-Yassin added in a statement on Thursday that Minister Susanto emphasized during their meeting on Wednesday the depth of bilateral relations between Kuwait and Indonesia.

Minister Susanto presented a certificate of appreciation to the Kuwaiti Embassy, expressing the Indonesian government’s appreciation for the strenuous efforts and constructive contributions made by the State of Kuwait in the field of sustainable development and alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable groups.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Yassin highlighted Kuwait’s global leadership in charitable, humanitarian, and developmental work, stressing Kuwait’s commitment to developing its friendly relations with the Republic of Indonesia across various fields in a manner that achieves the common interests of both countries.
