Guterres: US will contribute to UN budget very soon

Reuters reported last week that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump had informed Congress of its intention to pay $725 million in arrears owed to the United Nations.

When asked about the timing of this payment, Guterres told journalists that, according to information received by the UN, “it will be done very soon.”
