Al-Azraq Al-Salla meets the UAE

Kuwait’s national basketball team will host the United Arab Emirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, as part of the second round of the first window of the Asian qualifiers for the Asian Cup, which runs until August 31. The match will be held at the Al Ahli Youth Club gymnasium in Dubai.

The qualification format stipulates that three teams from each group will advance to the second window, scheduled for November next year. The results of this window will determine the identities of the eight teams that will join 16 top-ranked Asian teams to compete in the third and final qualifying window for the 2029 Asian Cup.

Led by new Greek coach Vassilis Pratsiakos, the Kuwaiti national team hopes to secure a victory over the hosts to continue their campaign and advance to the next window.
