Putin and Al-Sharrah held a telephone conversation regarding the memorandum of understanding on "Hmeimim"

A statement from the Kremlin, reported by Tass News Agency on Wednesday, stated that “during the exchange of views on the situation in Syria, Vladimir Putin reaffirmed the principled position supporting Syria’s unity, territorial integrity, and sovereignty, and the creation of suitable conditions for achieving long-term stability and reconstruction in the post-conflict phase.”

In this context, both Putin and the Syrian president expressed their readiness to deepen political dialogue and cooperation, particularly in trade, economic, and humanitarian fields, according to the Kremlin statement.
