Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Honors Broadcaster Fatima Al-Salman: A Model of Willpower Overcoming Challenges

Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Hawalli Acting Governor Sabah Badr Al-Salim Al-Sabah honored broadcaster Fatima Al-Salman at the governorate’s general diwan this morning, recognizing her excellence and media presence, and encouraging her to continue her career in the media sector. Fatima Al-Salman is the first person with disabilities to work as a broadcaster at the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

During the ceremony, the governor praised Fatima Al-Salman’s determination and resolve to succeed, emphasizing that honoring her reflects the leadership’s support for national talents and reinforces the principle of empowering persons with disabilities and highlighting their capabilities across various fields.

He noted that Fatima Al-Salman serves as an inspiring role model for Kuwaiti persons with disabilities, demonstrating her ability to overcome challenges and advance confidently and competently in the media field.

For her part, Fatima Al-Salman expressed her pride in this recognition, affirming that it serves as a strong motivation for her to continue contributing and delivering media messaging befitting the name of the State of Kuwait, while helping to showcase the capabilities and potential of persons with disabilities in various fields.
