The Charity Authority and the Diwan of the Amir conclude the "Bader Wa Yana" summer program

The Islamic World Charity Organization (IWO), in collaboration with the General Authority for Palace Affairs, concluded the second edition of the summer training program “Bader Wa Yana,” aimed at qualifying and empowering students under the care of the Palace Affairs, developing their skills, and preparing them for future academic and professional stages.
Acting Director General of the IWO, Abdulrahman Al-Mutawa, told KUNA that the program is part of a partnership seeking to transition care from its traditional concept to broader horizons of empowerment, capacity building, and future-making.
Al-Mutawa added that the program spanned two months, involving 22 male and female students from secondary and university levels, offering a comprehensive experience to familiarize participants with the corporate work environment, acquire professional and personal skills, and explore charitable and humanitarian fields, thereby helping them discover their capabilities and interests.
For her part, Acting Director General of the General Authority for Palace Affairs, Aliya Al-Saqqa, stated in a similar remark that the program is one of the government projects focused on supporting palace children aged 15 to 21 by providing them with job and training opportunities during the summer vacation, contributing to the productive use of their time, capacity development, and acquisition of practical experience.
Al-Saqqa noted that the program has seen significant expansion since its launch, beginning with the participation of approximately five entities and 105 palace children. Over four years, this participation grew to around 20 participating entities and 450 participants, reflecting the success of the initiative, the increasing interest in it, and the positive impact it has achieved.
