“Miami Show! 3.0” Lands in Dubai... August 29

Following the massive public success of the “Miami Show” performance series in Kuwait, and the launch of the experience with a special show at Maraya in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, the “Miami Show” featuring its two star artists, Khaled and Meshal Miami, and starring Mohammed Al-Hamli, under the direction of Maestro Dr. Ahmed Al-Oud, along with a group of professional dancers, continues its journey to make a stop in Dubai. This new station extends from the final show presented in Kuwait, titled “Miami Show! 3.0,” which marked one of the most prominent milestones of the experience since its launch in 2023, and succeeded in delivering a concert that blends music, choreography, and audience interaction.
The upcoming station, named “Miami Show Dubai,” will take place on Saturday, August 29, on the stage of Coca-Cola Arena, as part of the Dubai Summer Festival events. Produced by Al-Jaberiya Al-Hurra for Artistic and Theatrical Production, the show will bring the experience from Kuwait to Dubai’s audience, preserving the spirit, identity, and core elements of the performance, including live music, an orchestra, choreography, and visual content, while maintaining the audience as a fundamental element and partner in shaping the show’s atmosphere and interactive details.
In this context, Ali Al-Nasif, Founding Partner and CEO of Al-Jaberiya Al-Hurra for Artistic and Theatrical Production, told “Al-Rai” that the move to Dubai is an extension of the “Miami Show” journey and its success in previous stations, rather than a separate or different show. He added, “After the great success achieved by ‘Miami Show’ in Kuwait and the beautiful experience in AlUla, our ambition was to take the experience to a second stage. Dubai is an important station for us, so we were keen to bring the ‘Miami Show! 3.0’ experience to the audience there, allowing them to live the same spirit and experience as the Kuwaiti audience, along with the unique characteristics and different audience interactions associated with each station.”
Regarding the status of “Miami” in the Kuwaiti and Gulf musical scene, Al-Nasif stated, “‘Miami’ is not just a band; they are part of the memory of generations. For over three decades, they have maintained their presence and delivered works and concerts that resonate with the audience, which is in itself a great success. What is remarkable about them is their ability to preserve their identity while simultaneously evolving their presentation style, which led us to create the ‘Miami Show’ performances.”
Building on this legacy, Al-Nasif clarified that “Miami Show” aims to present songs in a different spirit, so that no song appears as an isolated segment, but rather as part of a cohesive journey. He explained, “Each song will immerse you in a second world, from lighting to costumes to choreography. We want each song to have its own look, feeling, and personality, so that the audience lives the journey with us from the beginning to the end of the show.”
He continued, “The audience will not just attend; they play a major role in the show’s success. There are moments where they will make the decisions, which will give each show its own unique spirit. We want them to be partners in the experience, not just spectators. For us, the audience is the key element of success in any show, because their interaction, presence, and the energy of the venue give the show its true spirit.”
Al-Nasif concluded his statement, saying, “It’s just one night, and the excitement is indescribable. We have prepared an experience featuring an orchestra, choreography, lighting, costumes, and interaction, where each song will take the audience to a second world.”
Al-Nisf did not forget to thank the Entertainment Events Management Department at the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai for its support and hosting of the show as part of the “Dubai Summer Surprises” festival. He also commended the role of the host company, “Al Qaisar Events,” for the cooperation and facilitations it provided, which contributed to the success of this stop.
