Boxing Federation Approves Schedule for New Season

The Kuwait Boxing Federation has approved the schedule for its domestic championships for the 2026–2027 sports season, which includes holding ten tournaments distributed across various age categories to provide players with opportunities to gain experience and enhance their technical skills.

Kuwait officials, including Federation President Abdullah Al-Otaibi, stated that the season’s competitions will kick off with the first championship for juniors, scheduled to take place from September 26 to 30 next year.

He added that these tournaments are part of the Kuwait Boxing Federation’s plan to develop the sport and elevate the performance levels of boxers across all age groups by providing a comprehensive competitive program that contributes to discovering talent and refining boxers’ abilities, while also preparing them for upcoming domestic and international events.

He noted that the new sports season will be distinguished by a rich calendar of tournaments, reflecting the Federation’s commitment to organizing all age-category championships according to the approved schedule, and affirmed that the working committees within the Federation are fully prepared for the launch of the new season.
