Mazloum Abdi officially announces the dissolution of the SDF and its full integration into state institutions

Mazloum Abdi announced on Tuesday from the presidential palace in Damascus the dissolution of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which he leads, following the “completion of their mission.”

Abdi said in a speech to journalists, broadcast on state television, “We announce today the completion of the Syrian Democratic Forces’ mission and, with full responsibility, we declare their dissolution as an independent military force.”
