Deputy Minister of Health: Raising the readiness of health facilities

This came during a field visit by the Deputy Minister of Health, accompanied by the Commander of the General Fire Force, Major General Talal Mohammed Al-Roumi, at Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital, to review safety and security protocols and the hospital’s readiness level.
During the visit, several technical aspects and measures aimed at enhancing prevention and improving response efficiency in emergency cases were discussed, contributing to the provision of a safe health environment for patients and staff.
The tour included various hospital facilities, service areas, and systems related to safety and prevention procedures. The officials reviewed operational mechanisms and approved protocols for handling emergencies, as well as the readiness and rapid response capabilities of relevant teams, ensuring the safety of patients and staff and the continuity of healthcare services.
The Ministry of Health clarified that the visit was part of on-the-ground assessments to verify compliance with safety requirements and preventive measures, evaluate the efficiency of adopted systems and protocols, and strengthen coordination between the Ministry of Health and the General Fire Force regarding the security and safety of health facilities.
