Following reports of thefts and fires, security operation in Al-Jaleeb arrests 45 wanted individuals

The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation conducted an extensive security operation in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area following several reports of thefts and fires in the district, resulting in the arrest of 45 individuals.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that security inquiries into the detainees revealed that 36 of them were wanted in absentia for various cases, including two women wanted in connection with incest charges. They were referred to the Department for Combating Human Trafficking and Negative Phenomena to take the necessary legal measures against them.
The ministry noted that investigations revealed nine individuals were involved in various crimes and offenses, including the theft of cables, copper, iron, car exhaust systems, and women’s accessories. Additionally, one person was found in possession of tobacco, while another was found with substances suspected to be methamphetamine and chemical drugs.
All necessary legal procedures were completed for the detainees, who were referred to the competent authorities. Reports were also prepared regarding those ordered to be deported from the country.
