Kuwait Airways announced the launch of its direct flights to Phuket in the Kingdom of Thailand, starting from October 27, 2026, with two flights per week on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Ticket bookings will open on August 25, 2026.

In this regard, Acting Chief Executive Captain Abdulwahab Al-Shatti stated that launching direct flights to Phuket is part of Kuwait Airways’ strategy to continue expanding its destination network and offering diverse, direct travel options that meet the needs of its customers, particularly to destinations experiencing growing traveler interest.

Al-Shatti added that Phuket is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Southeast Asia, thanks to its distinctive natural and tourism assets. He noted that launching direct flights to the city will enhance travel and tourism flows between Kuwait and the Kingdom of Thailand, providing travelers with a more convenient and comfortable journey.

He emphasized that Kuwait Airways continues to work on developing its services and strengthening its presence on the regional and international aviation map by adding new destinations and expanding its flight network, reflecting its ongoing commitment to providing travel options that meet customer expectations and reinforcing its position as Kuwait’s national carrier.

Al-Shatti concluded that adding Phuket to Kuwait Airways’ network extends the company’s efforts to enhance its flight network and introduce diverse destinations in 2026, thereby offering more options for travelers from Kuwait and supporting tourism and trade exchanges between Kuwait and various countries worldwide.

Kuwait Airways recently announced a special offer for retirees, providing a 20% discount for the retiree and a 15% discount for one accompanying companion on ticket prices to various destinations served by the national carrier. The offer is valid for the booking period from August 9 to September 15, 2026, with travel dates ranging from August 9, 2026, to February 20, 2027.
