The Hypocrites and... "God's Curse"!

He who is exalted said, “Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the disbelievers, the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally; that is sufficient for them. And Allah has cursed them, and for them is an enduring punishment.”

Hypocrites in their dealings are characterized by lying in speech, betraying trust, and breaking promises, as mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him). This constitutes minor hypocrisy.

May Allah curse the hypocrites. And may Allah curse the bribe-giver, the bribe-taker, and the go-between (the go-between is the intermediary or agent who facilitates the bribe), as stated in the hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad and Abu Dawud.

Numerous images of bribery and the mouthpieces of hypocrites dominated social media... and all sensible and wise people know that what is said and repeated is nothing but slander, lies, and false narratives designed to distort the truth.

This is a falsification of facts, a falsification of positions, and a falsification that contradicts reality... No upright, patriotic individual would accept any kind of falsification.

Whenever bribery, illicit gain, is found, it becomes obligatory for us to work on recovering the funds and holding the bribe-giver, the bribe-taker, and the go-between accountable... There is no exception in the process of accountability and punishment, following the well-known noble hadith from the best of creation, our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who said: “What destroyed those before you was that when a noble person among them stole, they would let him go, but when a weak person among them stole, they would impose the legal punishment upon him.”

We are facing a fundamental religious and legal principle: no favoritism, no leniency in justice, and the establishment of fairness and equality in accountability.

The point is, whenever a case of bribery is found, it is natural that there is a bribe-giver, a bribe-taker, and sometimes a go-between. This necessitates, by virtue of applying the principle of justice and equality, that all parties be held accountable.

The undeniable truth is that wealth is a trial. It was mentioned in the authentic hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him): “Every nation has a trial, and the trial of my nation is wealth.”

Matters concerning bribery, theft of public funds, and forgery must be followed by a precise, neutral, and professional investigation, and an inquiry that uncovers the details and identifies the involved parties (as is the case with commissions), so that the case is complete and punishment subsequently falls on everyone, regardless of age or status.

I hope that the country and society will be cleansed of the scourge of bribery and the harm caused by hypocrites and forgers, so that the country may live a dignified life free of corruption, with no place for the bribe-giver, the bribe-taker, the go-between, the hypocrite, or the forger... Allah is the source of all help.
