Sisi stresses the importance of ensuring the quality of university education and university hospital services

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi emphasized the necessity of taking all required measures to ensure the quality of university education and the services provided by university hospitals.

During a meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif, and Minister of Higher Education Abdulaziz Qansouwa, el-Sisi discussed recent developments in the portfolios of the two ministries, within the framework of ongoing preparations for the start of the new academic year.

He highlighted the importance of intensifying the organization of exhibitions for selling school supplies at affordable prices before the beginning of the academic year, while stressing the need to guarantee the application of the minimum wage in schools for all categories, including teachers, technicians, administrative staff, and others, and to enhance the governance of school expenses to alleviate the financial burden on students and their parents.

He underscored the necessity for universities and research centers to engage in studying and addressing the issues, problems, and challenges facing the Egyptian state, in order to examine, evaluate, and propose practical recommendations and solutions.

He also directed the continued implementation of automation in various Egyptian universities to ensure the quality of education and the objectivity of assessments.
