Kuwait Youth Team Faces Iran

Kuwait’s junior handball team faces a crucial match against their Iranian counterparts on Monday, in their third game of Group 2 at the ongoing 11th Asian Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup finals, currently being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The “Blue Juniors” enter the clash with the ambition of quickly returning to the path of victories and bolstering their chances of competing for one of the spots in the semi-finals. They started their campaign strongly with a well-deserved 29-19 win over Syria, before suffering a 19-30 defeat in the second round against Qatar.
The match is expected to be highly competitive given the importance of the points for both teams. The coaching staff aims to address the errors that surfaced in the previous game and enhance the players’ technical and physical readiness ahead of the upcoming encounter.
