Kuwait’s youth national football team will face their UAE counterparts today in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, in a friendly match as part of a training camp organized by the “Blue Youth” squad, which runs until the 28th of this month in preparation for the Group 7 qualifiers of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup, hosted by Cambodia.
This is Kuwait’s second match in Bangkok, following a 1-0 defeat to Iraq last Wednesday.
The “Blue Youth” are aiming to secure their first victory in their preparation campaign after two previous losses to Jordan in two friendly matches held in Kuwait.
In Group 7, Kuwait will face Japan on August 31, Yemen on September 3, and conclude their matches against hosts Cambodia on September 6.
