13% Increase in Oman's Revenues in the Second Quarter
Oman Daily: Oman’s public revenues rose by 13 percent through the end of the second quarter of this year, reaching approximately 6.6 billion rials, compared to around 5.8 billion rials in the same period last year; this increase is primarily attributed to higher oil revenues.
A financial performance bulletin issued yesterday by the Omani Ministry of Finance indicated that public spending reached approximately 6.6 billion rials through the end of the second quarter, an increase of 521 million rials, or 9 percent, compared to spending in the same period in 2025, which stood at around 6.89 billion rials, due to higher developmental and current expenditures compared to the same period last year.
The bulletin clarified that net oil revenues rose by 10 percent, reaching approximately 3.33 billion rials, compared to collections of around 3.18 billion rials. The average realized oil price was $74 per barrel, and the average oil production volume was 1.074 million barrels per day.
