Chief of the Pakistani Army to Visit Iran Tomorrow
Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir plans to visit Tehran tomorrow, Monday, to hold talks with Iranian officials, according to an announcement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Sunday.
Iranian media quoted Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei as telling journalists, “General Asim Munir will visit Tehran on Monday at the head of an official delegation.”
Baghaei added that the visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and to continue the good offices being undertaken by Islamabad to help enhance peace and security in the region.
