Inter signs Curtis Jones from Liverpool

Inter Milan, holders of the Italian league title, signed English midfielder Curtis Jones on Friday, making him the club’s third English signing in less than three weeks, following Jarrad Branthwaite and John Stones.
The Lombardy club, the favorite to retain the league crown, stated in an official announcement that “Jones has signed a contract with Inter Milan valid until June 30, 2031.”
According to Italian media, Inter will pay 35 million euros ($38 million) for the attacking midfielder.
The 25-year-old Jones, a product of the Liverpool academy, made 228 appearances and scored 22 goals across all competitions for the Reds.
Stones, whose contract with Manchester City expired, joined Inter on a two-year deal after leaving the club in 2016.
Spence, who drew attention during the 2026 World Cup, followed his teammate from the Three Lions, who finished third in the tournament held in North America, just days later. To secure the services of the full-back coming from Tottenham, Inter paid 30 million euros ($33 million).
The Nerazzurri, who won the domestic double and were eliminated in the Champions League qualifying playoffs last season, begin their Serie A campaign on Saturday against visitors Monza.
