Bitcoin price rises by more than 5 percent for the third consecutive day

Bitcoin surged strongly in Friday trading, breaking through the $77,000 mark.
Bitcoin’s price rose by more than 5 percent for the third consecutive day, driven by optimism over U.S. regulations concerning cryptocurrencies and a surprise move by the U.S. Treasury Department to repurchase more of its bonds, which bolstered demand for high-risk assets.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization climbed 6.6 percent to reach $77,472.44.
This price marks Bitcoin’s highest level since last May, with gains exceeding 20 percent since Wednesday.
According to data from Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Bitcoin’s price rose 8.26 percent to $77,224.94 by 11:19 Moscow time, as reported by Russia Today.
Thus, the world’s most popular cryptocurrency has surpassed the $77,000 level for the first time since May 26, 2026.
