The Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation participated in the Summer Book Fair hosted by the Graduates Association in 2026. The ninth edition of the fair launched yesterday, Wednesday, under the slogan “A Renewed Journey Toward Reading.” It features the participation of approximately 20 publishing houses, scientific and cultural institutions, libraries, cultural associations, and private universities. The opening was attended by Tunisian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohamed Bouddali, Ibrahim Al-Mulifi, President of the Graduates Association, and several cultural figures.

Dr. Saud Al-Anzi, Executive Director of the Center, stated that the participation of the “Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation” in the fair is an important opportunity to promote its services in youth training and qualification. The fair enables direct interaction with the public and allows for answering inquiries from those interested in enrolling in training courses, in addition to scheduling appointments for individuals wishing to benefit from the Center’s programs.

Al-Anzi praised the efforts of the “Graduates Association” in attracting the largest possible number of libraries and participating entities. He emphasized that what distinguishes the fair is the quality of its participants and the diversity of their publications.

He noted that the fair offers visitors a wide range of books in fields such as literature, novels, politics, sociology, economics, and more, thereby giving readers the opportunity to search for publications that meet their interests and knowledge needs.

He clarified that the “Graduates” book fair has become an additional opportunity for readers to discover and purchase new books during the summer period. It has witnessed significant attendance over its five-day duration, with activities continuing until next Sunday, the 23rd.

For his part, Ibrahim Al-Mulifi stated that the current edition of the Summer Book Fair is witnessing a record increase in the number of participating exhibitors, confirming the success and importance of this cultural event. The fair engages the public in the summer holiday atmosphere with a different cultural dimension, and he welcomed visitors of all ages.

He affirmed the Association’s commitment to introducing something new in each edition, including the participation of the Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation, which provides young people with the opportunity to discover their talents in innovation and development. He also highlighted the presence of private universities, aiming to provide a space for direct interaction between them and students wishing to continue their studies.

He pointed out that the ninth edition of the fair includes, for the first time, a pavilion for visual arts and artistic workshops such as drawing and caricature, offering a distinctive experience for fair visitors. He confirmed that the door remains open for more participants in every edition.
