Rescheduling the Start of the GCC Cup Winners' Cup

The Bahrain Handball Federation announced a change in the dates for the 42nd edition of the Gulf Clubs Championship for Cup Winners, which will now be held from November 21 to 30 next year.

In a letter addressed to the secretaries of the Gulf federations, it was clarified that the mandatory arrival date for participating teams is November 19, with the tournament’s technical meeting scheduled for November 20.

Locally, Al-Salmiya Club has strengthened its focus on youth handball teams, having signed national coach Salem Mufarreh to lead the under-15 cadets team next season. This move reflects the club’s commitment to building a strong foundation of players capable of supporting the sport’s future development.

Mufarreh expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Al-Salmiya Club management and the handball department for the trust placed in him, affirming that he will spare no effort to develop the team, elevate the players’ standards, and prepare them optimally to achieve the best results and compete for podium finishes in upcoming tournaments.
