Ibrahim settles on the list

As Al-Qadsieh SC returned to training today, Thursday, after a rest period granted by the technical staff led by Mohammed Ibrahim following their return from an external training camp in the Turkish city of Izmit, it is expected that “The General” and his coaching team have finalized the squad list for the new season, which kicks off with a match against Al-Fahaheel on Tuesday in the opening round of the Zain Premier League.

The technical staff also decided not to register players Fadel Al-Sarraf and Maqdad Safar, while the status of defender Ahmed Al-Yahya, who has returned from a medical trip to Qatar, is expected to be resolved either by registering him or temporarily suspending his registration on medical grounds, bringing the final squad to 28 players, the required number for the official list.

Meanwhile, team captain and star player Bader Al-Mutawa suffered an injury during the recent camp, diagnosed as a muscle tear. He is currently undergoing treatment and will miss the match against Al-Fahaheel, and possibly the encounter with Al-Kuwait in the second round of the league.
