Deputy Minister of Health Inspects Centers in Al-Mutlaa: Sustainability of Service Quality and Ease of Access

Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah inspected several health centers in the Mutlaa area to monitor operations, assess the level of services provided, and evaluate their alignment with the growing health needs of the area’s residents.
The Ministry of Health stated in a press release that the Deputy Minister, during his tour, inspected various clinics, departments, and support services. He reviewed patient flow, appointment booking and scheduling mechanisms, and service delivery pathways. He also heard briefings from officials and health staff on consultation rates, the nature of services provided, and key operational needs.
He met with several patients, listening to their feedback and experiences regarding the services provided. He emphasized the importance of field monitoring as a practical tool for directly identifying needs and challenges and addressing them to enhance the quality of healthcare and the patient experience.
He also discussed with officials and medical, technical, and administrative staff ways to improve the operational efficiency of the centers, support their staffing and equipment needs, and optimize the use of available resources. This aims to strengthen the capacity of primary healthcare facilities to respond to the increasing demand for services.
He stressed the importance of aligning the expansion of health services with the population and urban growth in the Mutlaa area and new residential neighborhoods, through continuous planning based on the actual needs of each area. This approach aims to enhance access to healthcare and ensure the sustainability of service quality and efficiency.
At the conclusion of the tour, the Deputy Minister commended the efforts of the staff working in the health centers, reaffirming the continuation of field visits and coordination with relevant sectors to support the needs of health facilities and enhance their performance efficiency. This aligns with the development of the healthcare system and meets the needs of citizens and residents.
