Within the accelerating government ranks striving to achieve the state’s vision of integrated digital transformation, coupled with performance quality and service efficiency, the Ministry of Education has continued its voyage in developing electronic services and automating procedures, leveraging modern technologies and artificial intelligence to support the educational and administrative processes in alignment with the state’s vision for digital transformation.

A training workshop report prepared by computer teacher Nof Al-Hajeri at Al-Rabiyah Secondary School emphasized that digital transformation in the Ministry of Education is a strategic step toward building a modern educational system reliant on technology and innovation.

The report, a copy of which was obtained by Al-Rai, indicated that with the continued development of electronic services and the utilization of artificial intelligence, the Ministry will be able to deliver more efficient and higher-quality services, achieving an advanced digital educational environment that meets societal needs and keeps pace with future requirements.

The report explained the concept of digital transformation as the process of employing digital technologies across all aspects of institutional work to improve services, simplify procedures, increase productivity, enhance the quality of decision-making, and develop a more efficient and flexible work environment.

It outlined the Ministry of Education’s efforts in digital transformation, highlighting several achievements in this field, including providing an integrated system of electronic services for students, parents, and educational and administrative staff, operating more than 27 electronic platforms and services serving various sectors of the Ministry, and developing the "Ta" digital platform for managing vocational training, qualification, scholarships, and study leaves, thereby contributing to the automation of administrative procedures.

It also pointed to the expansion in the use of the Microsoft Teams platform to support education, meetings, and remote training, alongside the launch of the electronic library offering diverse digital educational resources for learners and teachers. Additionally, numerous financial and administrative procedures were implemented to reduce reliance on paper transactions, and the Educational Digital Transformation Project was launched, aiming to build a smart educational environment based on modern technologies and artificial intelligence, while enhancing information security and protecting digital data to ensure the continuity of electronic services.

The report also outlined the objectives that digital transformation in the Ministry of Education seeks to achieve, primarily improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, saving time and effort in processing transactions, and enhancing the efficiency of administrative and educational performance. It also aims to support decision-making through digital data and statistics, strengthen communication between the school, the Ministry, and parents, and prepare an educational environment that meets future requirements.
