Four students representing Kuwait at the Earth Sciences Olympiad in Italy

A team of four Kuwaiti students is participating in the 19th International Earth Science Olympiad, hosted by the city of Turin in the Italian Republic, starting tomorrow, Thursday, and continuing until next Thursday, with the participation of an elite group of learners from various countries around the world.
The participation comes in line with the Ministry of Education’s commitment to supporting students, developing their scientific capabilities, and enhancing their involvement in international forums and olympiads. The Ministry confirmed that Kuwait is represented at this international scientific event by a team of four students: Talal Ahmed Al-Mutairi from Tariq bin Ziyad Secondary School, Ghaliya Nasser Al-Anzi from Habibah bint Shurayq Secondary School, Narjes Hani Sabti from Layla Al-Ghafiriya Secondary School, and Kawthar Ammar Al-Qattan from Bayan Secondary School.
The Ministry further emphasized that the students’ participation in this international scientific forum embodies the results of the efforts made to care for, prepare, and qualify students to compete in global competitions and olympiads, thereby contributing to refining their scientific skills, enhancing their capabilities in the field of Earth sciences, and strengthening Kuwait’s presence at international scientific forums.
