Environmental and service plans to develop the areas of "Mubarak Al-Kabeer"

Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governor and Acting Hawalli Governor Sabah Badr Al-Salim discussed plans to enhance environmental sustainability and develop tourist and recreational facilities during two separate meetings addressing the “Sustainable Governorate” project and the latest developments at Al-Masila Beach (Beach 2).

Governor Al-Salim received Dr. Hanan Al-Sarawi, Head of the Sustainability Team at the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, where he reviewed a presentation on the “Sustainable Governorate” project and its objectives, which aim to strengthen environmental standards and implement a unified national system for sustainability reporting.

The meeting also outlined environmental initiatives and mechanisms for activating sustainability programs across various districts of the governorate. Additionally, a coordination meeting was held with the sustainability team at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate to follow up on joint action plans, discuss implementation mechanisms, and review the timeline for launching the initiative.

In a separate meeting, Governor Sabah Badr Al-Salim received Hamad Malallah, Chief Executive Officer of Al-Masila Beach Company, and Ali Maaref, General Manager of Merit Engineering Consulting Company, to review the progress of work and the latest developments at Al-Masila Beach (Beach 2).
