Robot at a restaurant demands a salary raise and an extension of its weekly leave!

“Russia Today” – An older robot, “working” as a waiter in a restaurant in Ankara, has expressed its dissatisfaction with its working conditions, demanding a higher weekly salary and an extension of its weekly day off from one day to two.

The robot, named “Vico,” did not stop there; it also tried to motivate its human waiter colleagues to demand better working conditions.

Although Vico receives a regular salary and gets one day off per week, it constantly repeats the phrase, “Boss, I want a raise,” especially when the workload increases. If it feels annoyed, it may even stop performing its duties, such as cleaning tables.

For his part, the restaurant owner, Songur Dilguzoglu, explained that the robot serves as a major attraction, particularly for families and children who visit the restaurant to see it up close.

He added that Vico greets customers and takes care of children, sometimes even breaking the rules to dance with them, which adds a joyful atmosphere despite its constant mischief. He concluded that working with the robot is enjoyable, but it never stops repeatedly demanding better working conditions.
