Monaco will terminate Pogba's contract

Monaco – AFP – French club Monaco will terminate the contract of former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba following a series of injuries, it was announced on Wednesday.
Pogba, 33, won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France, but since the end of his suspension in a doping case, he has struggled to regain his form.
In a statement, Monaco said that the objectives set with Pogba “have only been partially achieved,” leading to the decision to terminate his contract, which runs until June 2027.
Pogba is currently sidelined with a thigh injury, shortly after returning from a knee injury.
Monaco praised the player’s “exceptional mentality, determination, and consistently high standards,” emphasizing that even during his injury periods, he had a positive impact on the team by “sharing his experience and knowledge” with his teammates.
