Kuwaiti Girls First in West Asia Table

Kuwait’s under-11 girls’ table tennis team secured gold, silver, and bronze medals in the individual event on Wednesday at the ongoing West Asian Championship in Jordan, which concludes on Thursday.

Player Haya Salah claimed the gold medal after defeating her teammate Sheikha Al-Ali in the final, who took the silver. Player Dalal Al-Shamari won the bronze medal after defeating Saudi player Shouq Al-Dosari.

Kuwait swept the top three spots in the individual competition, thanks to outstanding performances by the Kuwaiti players in a tournament that featured 16 participants from various participating countries.

With today’s results, Kuwait’s overall medal tally at the championship across all events stands at three golds, two silvers, and three bronzes.

Sheikha Al-Ali and Haya Salah also won the gold medal after defeating the Saudi team 3-0 in the final.
