Chief of Staff Inspects Kuwait Embassy's Efforts in the United States to Support Bilateral Relations Between the Two Countries

Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shara’an, visited the Kuwaiti Embassy as part of his official trip to the United States of America. He was received by Ambassador Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah and members of the diplomatic mission, along with the accompanying delegation. During the visit, he was briefed on the embassy’s efforts to support bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, particularly in the military and defense sectors.
The visit also included a field tour of the site where the memorial for Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield is being constructed, accompanied by Ambassador Al-Sabah. He reviewed the various stages of its construction and the sacrifices made by the friendly American people within the framework of the international coalition led by the United States to liberate Kuwait in 1991. The memorial reflects the deep historical ties and close bonds between the two friendly nations.
A high-level delegation of senior commanding officers from the Kuwaiti Armed Forces accompanied the Chief of Staff during these visits.
