Turkey rejects "Netanyahu's baseless claims" regarding the justification for the strike on a military airport in Syria

Turkey on Wednesday rejected “baseless” Israeli claims that Ankara poses a threat to its security by preparing to deploy troops to a military airport in Syria that was struck in an attack for which the United States held Israel responsible.
The official Anadolu Agency relayed a statement from the communications office of the Turkish presidency, which said that “the baseless claims put forward by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office aim to legitimize illegal Israeli air raids targeting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
